barka, sultanate of oman

DAZ transformed a simple rectangular shape into a deconstructed one leaving spaces for terraces, more landscape and voids that will illuminate the interior.  The pool was brought halfway into the house to have a covered AND an open pool designed in a way to absorb the best sun orientation, surrounded by landscape and outdoor seating areas.

The elegance of the design of this residence lies in its volumes and voids. Villa Mabella is partly volumes separated by levels, voids and terraces. The landscape gives the residence another dimension, not one of only a living space but also of a getaway and relaxation space.

DAZ combined a neo-modern structure and accentuated it with eastern traditions such as interior water, light structural walls, several levels giving the client a space for meditation, tranquility and consequently a space for peace.
