In order to create a space that
can feed Saida’s life, we studied the complex patterns of movement and fluxes
which surround the existing building and will pass through the future city hall
to connect the new building with its immediate surroundings, the project
pre-establishes a working frame from which is both a structural and an
organizational scheme.
The interaction of the structure
with the street becomes more active since the exterior and the interior
communicate. Our proposal is to have the existing façade covered by a number of
horizontal strips – chip in the direction of these elements created a
scale-enlargement of the building.
