“2Q 257” volume is stretched
inward to introduce terraces. The ground
floor is smaller than the rest of the floors to allow garden views and leave covered
passages and terraces which makes the villa look like it is floating. The roof
edges are distorted to allow access to the views.
By slicing the roof, the terrace
and pool area are created. Interior voids allow natural ventilation and
lighting. The openings are simple, yet sophisticated elements on a clean white
facade. The main entrance is an extension of the road and leads to the common
square from which each family will take their destination. Pedestrian access is
granted from the upper boundary of the road, through sidewalks and crossways.
